tahitian treat
stefan from a-spot skateshop in tahiti came through deluxe last week. he started his shop there more then 10 years ago and is still making it happen through the ups and downs, he is the man. he also built this metal buidling and this wooden bowl, just to keep some solid skate action rolling on the island, and if you ever go down there...he would love to get a session going, just dont expect to keep your shirt on, there is tropical heat and humidity you gotta battle.

The Manifest getting the final edit...
Yes it was getting edited when Jim took this, but really I think he was showing it off to everyone here...and well worth showing off. With all the hype around "footage" and the ease of editing and mass accesibility of footage...it's cool to see some props given back to the picture format, and Gabe Morford is a super solid guy with an amazing eye. Big ups to everyone who worked hard to make this happen.
The Manifest by Real goes live next week.

REAL is about to launch an online “book” of sorts, as calling the Manifest a zine is simply not enough. Jim and the TM’s got with all the riders…and then got with Gabe Morford to work their asses off for the last few months and put together an amazing collection of photo’s and interviews with the whole REAL team. The cool thing is the interviews of each rider was done by all sorts of skate industry people outside Deluxe such as: James Kelch, Eric Koston, Rob Brink, Josh Kalis, Giovanni Reda, Tommy Guerrero, Jake Brown…just to name a few.
With all the blood, sweat and beers put into this project, we really need you to get these banners out there, and on every single website/ blog/ myspace/ facebook possible.
It is supposed to go live next Monday Feb. 16th…and it’s okay to announce this, although it very well could be a few days late.
Here is a link below where people can access the 4 most commonly sized web banners as animated flash formats:
